Job den Dulk en Moniek de Leeuw know each other through different festivals and stages where they played together with their bands Convoi Exceptional and Balcony Players. During a nightly jam in a yurt they felt a musical spark and Job & De Leeuw was born! They play original gypsy songs with influences from klemzer and bluegrass rags. With violin, cajon, guitar, tapdance and their voices they produce the sound of a complete band. They make sure their audience enjoyes themselves and dances, with an occasional heartfelt ballad.
