Films With a View is back! Every Tuesday – until the end of summer -, you enjoy the best, most hilarious, exciting, thrilling or spiking movies on our beach, with a view: the best one in town! 

The United States, early twentieth century. Miner Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) receives a mysterious tip about a village in the West where oil is said to be gushing from the ground. Together with his son, Daniel moves to this village and begins building an oil empire. He entices farmers with promises of the wealth that the oil beneath their fields could bring them, but preacher Eli Sunday is not swayed by his talk. Human values such as love, hope, and faith are opposed by corruption, deceit, and abundantly flowing oil. Daniel Day-Lewis received an Oscar for this film!
