Films With a View is back! Every Tuesday – until the end of summer -, you enjoy the best, most hilarious, exciting, thrilling or spiking movies on our beach, with a view: the best one in town!
On Tuesday 26th we host a FWAV special! Expect humor, chaos and intrigue before ánd during the movie! Of course we all know the classic The big Lebowski and if not, this is your chance to get to know it! Put on your best outfit (Google for inspo), because the person dressed the very best will win a dinner for 2 at Pllek, the price of a White Russian cocktail is only €6 the whole evening and last but not least: throw a strike on the bowling alley and you will get that cocktail for free!
The Big Lebowski (1998) was directed by the brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. The duoalso created Fargo, True Grit, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Burn After Reading and Hail Caesar. The Big Lebowski takes place in Los Angeles, where Jeff ‘The Dude’ Lebowski is mistaken as miljonair Jeffrey Lebowski. Someone pees on a carpet, a millionaire woman is kidnapped, a debt owed to a porn tycoon has to be paid, and bowling fanatics come to the rescue. Expect humor, chaos and intrigue!
Please note: It’s not possible to make a reservation beforehand. Price per person is €8. The headphones (which is your ticket) can be rented at the beamer/projector on our beach, the night of the movie.
FWAV only takes place when it’s dry. On the day of the movie, around 12:00 PM, we will communicate if the movie will take place (Facebook, Instagram en website). We will take care of enough seatings, bean bags and blankets!
All English-speaking movies are subtitled in Dutch. Any other spoken language will be subtitled in English.
