Marcelo Umaña takes you on a funky trip around the world with his international rhythms and melodies. In the 90’s, Marcelo was part of the electronic music scene in his home country Chile where he worked with artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano. Marcelo warms up the restaurant for the weekend with his surprising sets!

One of the Dutch DJs and a resident at 3Gram, emerging from the underground scene, is Rene Engel. He started as a DJ in the nineties and has been influenced by his love for a wide range of styles. Driven by his passion to perform and deliver high-quality tracks that he believes align with the audience’s preferences and the atmosphere of the venue at that moment, he always keeps in mind what the DJ after him will play. He has a strong preference for b2b (back-to-back) sets with like-minded individuals and can deliver deep warm-up sets or take the stage for a closing set – he loves it all, and the longer, the better!

The sense of the underground is reflected in the mixes he releases, and it’s this distinct element that defines him the most as a DJ: the ability to dig deep and intensely for that one track that creeps under your skin and touches the soul, or simply makes you dance delightfully 🙂

He continues to have his name featured on the line-ups of some of the best clubs and events in the Netherlands and beyond. He has performed at Paradiso, Paradigm, Sisyphos Berlin, Doka, Club Poema, and at festivals such as 18hrs Festival, Amsterdam Open Air, Shoeless Festival, Sonar Barcelona, and many more.
